Today is my son’s birthday. The bigger one. The crazy red-headed freckle-faced one who likes to jump off of things and wrestle his 1 year old brother.
There’s no end to his personality and love of life. He’s got his own goals for himself and is determined to scare the crap out of me by becoming a robot builder when he grows up. I am not a fan of the robot apocalypse, so he promised that all his robots can live in the backyard–out of the house so I can be safe. Our dog doesn’t use the dog house anyway. And so we had to get him his favorite coding book so he doesn’t have to keep checking it out at the library:
My now 4 year old also loves spider and the color red, so naturally a red spider cake had to be made, along with some other spider treats. And just because I’m no Martha Stewart so I wanted to share my silly creations, since perfect food never tastes as good as silly snacks.
I mean come on. Licorice legs!
And spider crackers… and…
Spider hot dogs (even if they look kinda like octopuses).
