“I write education news for a living. My job, every day, is to report on what’s happening in education. I have great respect for teachers in all settings but have been a homeschooling mother for more than 10 years now, and what I’ve researched and written on recently is horrifying.

The public school system is a mess. Hardly anyone wants to be a teacher anymore, and with good reason. Too many educators in the system have little to no respect for parental rights and believe they are above the law.”

The teachers in my area. Great women and men. They spend their own money on the children. I never met a person molested by a teacher. Children need face to face. I taught soldiers for 15 years. Kid and people need hand-on and great instructors.

Just because you never met someone who was molested by a teacher doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. The stats I quote are directly from government data. Yes, there are some great educators out there, but the state of the current education system is horrifying. Are you currently teaching, and do you currently have young children in the public education system?

I have five grandchildren and I had four children that went to the public schools. I had 11 brothers and sisters. Never molested by teacher. There are bad priest and bad teachers. One bad apple doesn’t destroy the profession of the teachers, who give to the students with low pay and hard work.

1 bad apple? Check the latest reports it’s not just 1. And Public school teachers are 100 times more likely to molest children than priests. I deal with education news everyday. You may run in a nice circle, but that is anecdotal whereas I’m going off of federal, state, and local government data and court cases. That’s the difference between you and me.
