Anyone who was alive and old enough to remember knows where they were on 9/11. The exact moment they found out. What they saw, what they heard. How things changed. Forever.
9/11 was used as a scapegoat to spread fear, take our rights, and warmonger, but there were also true leaders who emerged in the aftermath.
I remember Robin Williams donating blood, Steve Buscemi donning his firefighter role to help out and avoiding the press. Trump was there too and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was America’s Mayor.
Our country was injured and I fear we never fully recovered. The division, the weakness, the insanity taking over our schools, military, and leadership.
But we remember and that’s something that cannot be taken away from us. We remember life before the Patriot Act, and we remember a time when warmongering was called out for the evil it is.
It’s why two of my articles today highlight the differences between President Trump and Joe Biden (who is no longer sleepy Joe but Bedtime Biden.)
Note the contrast
