Filing a brief against the illegitimate committee is all well and fine, but what we want him to do is to withdraw and nullify the subpoenas issued by that committee. Hopefully, this includes that, otherwise it’s toothless grandstanding. Unfortunately, unless I’m misunderstanding, this is simply grandstanding because all they are doing is piggybacking onto Steve Bannon’s appeal in court filings, as part of his appeal. This might be factored in by the court, by the judge in question, and it might not be but it does nothing to nullify the subpoena’s issued, unless I’m misunderstanding the nature of the amicus brief. And it wouldn’t surprise me if I’m understanding it perfectly, because Mike Johnson’s ammo so far has been to sell us out. And to grandstand.
