JD Vance: The Perfect Pick

When J.D. Vance was announced as President Donald Trump’s running mate, I stopped and cocked my head. I was like, “Really?”

I was at my desk writing, so I sat back and thought about it. Vance was originally a Trump skeptic who was won over by the 45th President’s leadership–the same as me. He voted for Trump in 2020 and saw how the election process was corrupted–the same as me. He is now 100% America First–the same as me.

My devotion to the America First movement is fierce and shared by millions of Americans who didn’t originally support President Trump–the same as J.D. Vance.

In 2016 I voted for Gov. Gary Johnson on the Libertarian ticket. I didn’t care about his Aleppo remark, I cared about putting my nation first. I didn’t trust Trump, and there was no way in hell I would vote for Hillary. I had read one of her books and how she detailed the importance of using the state to raise children…

She honestly wrote about how it’s the government’s job to raise kids BEFORE that of parents, taking the metaphorical “it takes a village” proverb LITERALLY (like most liberals do). #NoThanks

It didn’t take long for me to realize that Trump was a good leader. He fought hard for everyday Americans and for the first time, I enjoyed all the benefits of American prosperity.

As my husband said, “It was the first time we weren’t struggling.”

Vance is the perfect VP pick to display that it’s okay to be skeptical. It’s good to question a new political leader. Best of all, he shows that anyone can be won over by a good leader.

My husband only trusts Trump and is ready to be his bodyguard after the assassination attempt. He was not happy with Vance at first, so I sifted through countless X posts on Vance’s timeline and checked his voting record. I wrote my latest piece for American Thinker to mainly ease his mind haha
