My Favorite Part of the Trump / Harris Debate

Debates are like sporting events nowadays. People have their team and their favorite player. Then you have the undecided spectators who just watch to see the outcome.

It’s all fun and games when it’s a sport, but when the value of your money, your home, and your nation are on the line, it gets more personal.

Yet, everyone needs to lighten up and remember that what makes this nation great is our ability to freely disagree and support the causes and leaders whom we individually deem fit.

It’s frustrating when the people moderating an event between two opposing candidates grill one side and then pat the other on the back. It’s ridiculous to witness their obvious bias and hatred for the pursuit of truth and justice for all.

So when I get to laugh and enjoy a moment in a serious debate, that’s what I love most. And no one pulls that off better than President Donald Trump. He can be brash. He can be brazen. But when it comes down to it, he knows how to fight for Americans and mock those who have abused us.

When Trump compared Kamala Harris’ “plan” for our economy to the children’s book “Run Spot Run” I almost died laughing.

It was a great moment. It cleared the air and reminded everyone that the 45th President has a good sense of humor. Not enough people have that anymore. While Harris went on and on about fictional “abortion” scenarios, Trump gave us clear answers. Like reminding all the activists that he always has and always will support offering exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother when it comes to abortion bans.

His record speaks for itself. And so does Kamala’s. Hers is much worse than “Run Spot Run.”
