My son has been begging me to make a snow squirrel since I finished his second snow bunny. My cartoon bunny from a few weeks ago didn’t suit his wish for a REAL looking snow bunny, and since we’ve had a nice snowy winter I fixed my misinterpretation.

He pays in hugs so I'm well compensated. pic.twitter.com/6SxVlhKs8I
But as soon as that was done, and the snow melted we got another storm, and thus I had another commission from my snow-sculpture-loving-boy. He started BEGGING for a snow squirrel. And he learned from the bunny experience and even asked for his squirrel to look like a REAL one (or as much as a snow squirrel can look real).
Since the latest blast of snow is probably our last for the season we went out in the melty soup this weekend and I made the happiest little squirrel.
I even based him off of the little furry grey brat who keeps chewing into our chicken feed bins. haha
He melted within a day. The warm-up is here and the sun is amazing. But we had a great time while the snow lasted.
