Is it that hard to make a based action flick?

I recently went to see “A Working Man,” co-written by Sylvester Stallone. This was after I also went to see Mel Gibson’s flick “Flight Risk.”

I love action movies. I want to see the good guy beat the crap out of the bad guys and save the day. That’s it. No stupid romance necessary. But lately, there’s always some DEI element, and it just detracts from the experience. Real diversity exists organically, not in some box-checking system that pretends that everyone is the same. We’re not. And that’s a good thing.
