Health Secretary Kennedy has a lot of work to do. Americans are some of the most unhealthy people on the planet. A portion of this is due to personal choices like a sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, and a lack of healthy mental stimulation.
But a great deal of health issues also come from our tainted food supply being poisoned with addictive additives and other toxins that harm the human body.
To Make America Healthy Again, the food industry has to accept that their current practices are not ethical nor should they be legal.
Too many foods are pumped full of high fructose corn syrup, soybean oil, dextrose, and chemicals that most Americans cannot even pronounce.
Raw ingredients are the way to go, but even when buying table salt, you HAVE to look at the label. Just a few weeks ago, I was reminded of this when I sent my daughter into the grocery store to grab some salt after I forgot it while shopping, and when she came back, I glanced over the ingredients (because I have food trust issues), and it’s a good thing I did. The ingredients in this regular iodized table salt weren’t just salt and iodine, but also dextrose–which is a sugar–and some other chemical additive I’ve never heard of.
I returned it for some natural sea salt. Which of course, has a warning on the label stating that it does not supply iodine. Newsflash: Dairy, eggs, and seafood are packed with natural iodine. No additives needed.
The healthy salt had a warning on the label, but the sugar salt didn’t. This is the state of the American food supply. It’s criminal at this point.
I know sugar is addictive, but adding sugar to simple table salt? That’s sinister. And how many people read labels?
I hope more and more people do each day as everyone is coming to finally realize just how dangerous so many of our foods are.
I’m of the belief that if you don’t pay more at the grocery store for clean healthy foods, you’ll pay for it tenfold at the doctor when they’re treating whatever illnesses you get from unhealthy eating.
It’s gonna take a lot of work to clean up our foods, but RFK Jr. is working on it. And the first step is banning synthetic dyes from our food. Food isn’t supposed to look like a clown exploded on it.
The FDA and the HHS are working together under RFK Jr.’s instruction to remove synthetic food dyes from our food supply by the end of 2026.
