Making America Healthy Again

Life is a balance.

In the modern world, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to live a healthy, natural life, but I do everything I can to do so because I know it benefits not just my body and my mind, but also my spirit and that of my family.

I cook from scratch, still use those old-fashioned home remedies for illness and wounds, my backyard is full of wildflowers, and my life is a-swirl with love for simplicity.

My family and I raised backyard chickens. We walk to stores and restaurants in our area instead of driving because it enriches our connection to our community. We limit media, screen time, and negativity, and we’re much better for it.

It’s not an easy life. It’s busy. It’s incredibly messy and hectic quite often, but at the end of every day, I feel a sense of peace through all our accomplishments.

I write about this because when I look around at the health crisis and the mental health crisis, I see people angrily staring at their phones. They close themselves up in their cars listening to others fill their minds instead of giving their brain the quiet it needs to really process everything. And mostly, I see lines of cars circling fast food restaurants, and people growing wider and wider as their faces droop more and more.

I don’t just believe “we are what we eat,” though that is truly obvious, but I also know we are what we consume. That’s so much more than what we just eat, it’s what we read, what we listen to, what we watch, and how we live.

Now, personal responsibility is a huge factor here. Everyone has the ability to turn off the noise, care for their bodies and their brains, and expand the spirit, but so many poisons are camouflaged nowadays that I do not blame individuals entirely for a lack of balance.

The media is filled with politically funded propaganda. This includes not just the news, but movies, tv shows, music, and especially commercials and magazines.

Just walking down the street, the book Fast Food Nation‘s warning is everywhere. When we allow a cheap throwaway society to take hold, we begin to lead cheap throwaway lives. It takes a lot of budgeting and planning to avoid the constant subliminal marketing that drives people into fast food lines.

What’s more, the additives in our food supply have become so detrimental that they have spread throughout most mass-marketed food products like a plague, waiting to attack.

That’s why I 100% support the MAHA movement. What we eat controls our ability to think clearly. Thinking clearly helps us to turn off propaganda and balance ourselves through healthy habits, and healthy habits lead to better mental health. It is all connected.

Junk food is like a zombie waiting to eat the brain and decay the body, and additives are driving this insanity. Food was meant to break down, like all organic matter. The more unnatural additives that are pumped into the food supply, the longer they take to digest and the harder they are on the body, causing a domino effect of health problems that can all be avoided with better eating.

Thankfully, RFK Jr.’s work is now speaking to food companies, and they are removing harmful synthetic dyes from food, but this is just one victory in the war to reclaim a healthy food supply. We must press for all food producers to remove toxins and provide honest meals made with healthy natural ingredients.

This one made the White House Wire, and it’s always cool to get that recognition (and I highly appreciate it), but when I write my articles, I’m not doing it for that. I do it for YOU.

We can and will Make America Healthy Again, but it starts with us. It’s not the government’s job to fix everything, the government works for us and must be directed by us and we cannot stop while we’re gaining ground.

I hope everyone eats some fresh raw veggies and a big hunk of farm-raised meat today. (Also drink some water, just pure untainted water)
