I was working on my previous op-ed before this one when Melania’s wonderful spirit started taking it over. In self-editing, I realized that she deserved her own because she has truly embodied the holiday spirit this year. I have enjoyed every post, and I’m not generally much of a sentimental person, but our First Lady is really embodying what it means to spread love and joy this Christmas.
