I’ve decided to challenge myself to write no less than one blog post each day this month.
Why?
Everyone says write every day if you’re going to write.
Well blogs count. So does Twitter and actual Facebook posts not just likes and shares.
The point is to get words flowing. Cohesion isn’t necessary. Story is irrelevant.
You must learn to stand on a skateboard before trying to do any tricks.
Facebook is your first big wheel while a blog is a bike with training wheels. Twitter is a sweet tricked out BMX that is only useful to those who really know what they’re doing. You can avoid it or use it; just be prepared for some bumps and scrapes along the way to mastering it.
Finally, once you have words flowing regularly then you can hop on the motorcycle that is writing.
