My story Gold Bands is eligible for best story in the October 2018 category, but the doozie is Author of the Year (which I could also snag). The possibility of either is enough to make me run up and down the hallways singing “We Are the Champions,” because everyone on the list is awesome and I love how supportive the writing community has always been.
