Journalism means getting the story out. It means finding the unbiased truth. No matter where anyone stands on Israel or Palestine, the fact of the matter is that 97 people have been held hostage in cramped tunnels under Gaza for a year after Hamas brutally attacked civilians in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
Of these hostages are four living Americans and the remains of 3 others (one who is hoped to still be alive).
The families of these hostages are fed up with the lack of action from the American government. When our people are captured, it becomes our conflict, which is why I had to write about these families
today.
Their calls to find a “Plan B” or some other route to find an end to the hostages’ suffering should not just come from the family members of those who have been taken, but from every freedom-loving American.
Hamas wants a global blight on freedom and the Jewish people. Among the hostages from other nations is the Argentinian-Israeli Bibas Family.
Shiri Silberman-Bibas was kidnapped by the terrorist group with her two young sons, then 4-year-old Ariel and 9-month-old baby Kfir. Ariel turned 5 on August 5th (the day after my own birthday) and Kfir has now spent more of his life in the hands of terrorists than as a free child. Their father, Yardin, was later captured as well. This kills me inside. It has haunted me and so many others.
Maybe it’s because I am a mother of 5 children. Or the fact that these little boys are red-headed just like my eldest son. But mainly, it’s horrifying to know that these innocent little ones have faced harsh conditions for over a year while our leaders twiddle their thumbs and allow pro-Palestine “protesters” to spread antisemitism and even celebrate the massacre on our soil.
What is happening in our nation is absurdism with a twist of pure hatred. And it has been going on for years now. It’s been gaining steam.

I am 100% for free speech, but threats of violence and acts of vandalism are not human rights, nor are they backed by our constitution. Peace through strength is the only way because the current administration’s weakness has solved absolutely nothing. They have exacerbated the current horrors facing this nation with their incompetence and opposition to American values.
But writing about it does nothing unless action is taken to save the hostages.
This sums it up perfectly:
And to all the people arguing that Westerners started it by carving out a home for the Jewish people:

This battle has been going on for much longer, if not hundreds of years. This is a deeply rooted religious feud. It is a religious war where one side wants to wipe out everyone who doesn’t pray their way.
Meanwhile, two innocent children remain in captivity with their parents.
Rumors have swirled that the children have been “traded” to other terrorists, while others claim they are dead.
Nobody knows. That’s the worst part. The uncertainty. The lack of knowing if they have a future or not. And THAT is what I see when I look at all of the stories.
Terrorists want to scare everyone into submission. I don’t care if every American uniparty “leader” bows to this tyranny, I will never stand for hate, violence, or the persecution of any people. Until humanitarian workers are allowed to ensure that every remaining hostage is safe and sound, Israel must fight to #BringThemHome.
And I remain skeptical of the motives of all the “pro-Palestine protesters” because I have yet to witness them denouncing violence ON ALL SIDES.
If you want peace, if you are on either side and you want peace, I would love to hear from you. I want to be wrong about the pro-Palestine movement. I so desperately want them to be peace-seeking individuals.
