The stories coming out of North Carolina and other areas affected by Hurricane Helene are crazy. So crazy that a lot of Americans wish they weren’t true. And plenty will trust the corporate media and believe that the Biden/Harris administration is “helping” as best they can (while sending more money to people in other nations as Americans go without food and shelter).
But the beauty of social media and fast-paced communications technology is that you can go on any social media platform and see footage from the people in need (with your OWN EYES).
FEMA has dropped the ball, as have so many of our “leaders,” but thankfully, Americans always help each other out. There is nothing like a disaster to bring out the best in people. I have witnessed and heard of so many beautiful acts of kindness and humanity during the past couple of weeks.
People have seemed pretty downtrodden about the coming Hurricane Milton so I knew we all needed to remember that American spirit of togetherness.
Please check out my article about the people helping to fill in the gaps where our “leadership” has failed. And if you can, give to the Hodgetwin’s fundraiser or Samaritan’s Purse.
