Playing in the snow makes you feel like a kid again.
I’m highly in touch with my inner child so when my eldest son asked me to make him a snow bunny, I was ready. I had already made a snow dog, snow chicken, snow lock-ness monster, and even a snow coffin (don’t ask–the eldest had a goth phase) over the years.
So after we made a family of regular snow people, I set on making a giant snow bunny.
It’s fun shaping snow and trying to make sure nothing falls apart. I got the body and the tail right. The head was a little difficult, and the ears were the worst part, but I worked on them until my son’s snow bunny was taller than him.
The only thing he didn’t mention, was that he wanted it to look “Like a real bunny.” This sums up parenting perfectly haha
My comical creation didn’t hit the mark and the snow is melting. I’m gonna try and find time to carve out a realistic little snow bunny with him, but if not, at least I had fun making this monstrosity before the sun knocked it down the next day.

I was so proud that I even made the little two front teeth and whiskers, but I’m gonna have to chalk this miscommunication up to “creative differences”
