If the “Free Palestine” movement just wants to end the horrors in Gaza, why do they chant Hamas’s slogan? And why do they celebrate the anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre?
I want America and Americans to be put first. We are not here to save Palestine or Israel.
But I do see quite different approaches. The “Free Palestine” demonstrators wave a foreign flag, block traffic, disrespect or outright attack police officers, and chant the terrorist group Hamas’s slogan “From the River to the Sea,” which was first used in 2012 by the terrorist group’s leader as he began attempting to coax Palestinian leaders to accept their violent rhetoric against Israel. These demonstrators also celebrate the anniversary of the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, where Hamas slaughtered innocent Israelis.
Israel supporters may wave a foreign flag as well, but they do not call for violence, support violence, or use violence to drive their point home.
So, if I’m gonna support anyone, I will support those who obey American law and order and use peace to communicate.
Never, will violence against innocent people be justified. Not by Hamas. Not by Israel. And not by anyone from, in, or supporting Palestine.
