The NFL used to be fun. Then it got political and went woke. I miss enjoying games and silly commercials. It was incredibly unifying to just watch a game and root for your team without worrying about everything else in the world. It was a great release.
I was raised with football. I did my football picks with my dad every week before the games, and we shouted and clapped, and cheered. But that’s not what the NFL is about anymore. It’s about anti-American politics and ramming propaganda down our throats.
I stopped watching years ago.
I’d rather play backyard football with my kids than watch the Super Bowl. But when TP USA announced that they’re hosting an All-American Halftime Show to offer counter programming, I was so ready. It will be a great break from the insanity.
