I’ll be hitting the road again this weekend.

I’m ready to come attack all my KC readers and anyone near enough to drop in. There is no greater pleasure than getting to spread the love. I’ll load up the car and swing over to Kansas to share some book love this Sunday September 10^th at Merriam Marketplace.

The Kansas City Pagan Pride Day festivities start at 10am and go until 6pm. But don’t be shy about the Pagan part, we love everyone.

My mom is Catholic, my dad was raised Lutheran, my sister is Atheist, and I’m lucky enough to have friends from various religious backgrounds. It’s not about the religion; it’s about the spirit and power of coming together. That’s all faith should ever really be, in my eyes.

Anyone who swings by to nab a copy of my new children’s book, “The Golden Rule,” will receive a special discount.  This particular tale is about celebrating the similarities of our different beliefs/cultures.

She’s already won a New Apple Award and is nominated for the same Moonbeam Children’s Book Award that The Pope won last year. (Still wrapping my brain around the fact that my little book is up for an award The Pope won haha)

But I can’t think of a better way to promote this work by enjoying the company of others and doing what I can to ensure that people from all situations can acquire a copy.

As always this event offers good food, music (don’t be afraid to dance if your feet are feeling it), and vendors with unique gifts and goods. Come out and say “Hi!”

I can’t wait to see everyone.
