I wrote this piece to inform people on what they’re being asked to do to “show we care.” I received a lot of encouraging rejections from the corporate media. Apparently my work doesn’t fit a certain tone they’re going with in order to present a certain picture, but they definitely understand my concerns…

But 1 local magazine picked up a shortened version of it last month. It didn’t get into the printed version and was buried online. I accidentally came across it earlier today and am proud to share it, even though it’s delayed.
