I love writing these kinds of pieces. It’s fun to joke around and work on one-liners. Plus they might actually help.
I’m a laugh it off kind of gal. When people ask me why I always seem so happy, maybe that’s the “secret.” No, I’m not always happy. I get frustrated, upset, and have issues just like everybody else. But I don’t let anything ruing my day, week, or life and I think that’s where this comes in.
I can go to the bathroom and cry for a few minutes. Or lay in bed a little longer. It’s good to let yourself feel your emotions, but NOT wallow.
After a little while, it’s fun to get up, laugh at something silly and remember that as bad as things get there will always at least be pizza… or cake… or a friend who always makes you smile. All exist.
So check this new piece out if you need a little laugh to ease the mounting anxiety over that upcoming party.
