See Missouri’s New Curriculum Transparency Bill

https://go2tutors.com/missouri-curriculum-transparency-bill/

We used to have to get permission slips for everything in school. Even to watch certain sex ed movies. So why is it so difficult for teachers, teacher’s unions, school boards, and superintendents to just let parents know what children are being taught in school?

If the lessons are academic and age-appropriate, they should have nothing to hide. It’s insane to me that legislation like this even needs to be passed. It’s like reason 589 why I homeschool. haha If you can’t trust teachers and schools to be honest about the material they are teaching, then there’s no use shipping your children off to them. But hopefully this will pass and help parents who still have hope for public education.
