For years I thought teacher’s made nothing. Then I did the research and found that the national average for elementary and secondary school teachers is well over 50K a year. People are leaving public education at record rates, maybe the unions should focus on how to help districts better their policies to keep students enrolled instead of just doing what they always do and demanding more money.
