Everyday I am asked about why I started homeschooling and how I do it. Everyday I hear parents expressing frustration at the state of public education and the cost of private school tuition. Teaching is a difficult profession and I still respect teachers who wholeheartedly work to expand minds and encourage freethinkers.

It was many of my teachers who led me to write about my experiences and/or gave me the support I needed throughout my unstable childhood. I could never forget them.

Even so, I am a huge advocate of homeschooling because it has so many benefits for dedicated parents, children, and communities. So much so that I am writing a book about it.
