The public education system is a mess. I was forced to homeschool when my eldest first reached preschool age because the district in my area lost accreditation.

Corruption, indoctrination, and misappropriation of taxpayer dollars have become such a common aspect of these government schools that I doubt there is anything anyone can do to ever make me trust my children to them. My own public school experiences offer a mixture of elements.

While there were some teachers who highly influenced me and enriched my life, it took a long time to undo my own public school indoctrination and fully see the bigger picture (well beyond the one-sided politics impressed upon me by the system).

I’m def interested to see what President Trump has to say.
