I love extremes. Extreme writing, extreme sports, extreme weather (it’s going to hit 103 degrees today – hopefully – and I can’t wait to play in it on my lunch break). I try to fit that love of pushing things as far as they go into my work.
It doesn’t always pay off, but today I got another great review, which you can read here: http://linsperspective.com/2017/07/21/book-review-the-golden-rule-jessica-marie-baumgartner/
The response to my new children’s book seems to have no end of praise. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a perfect writer and I have some major character flaws. So I am very grateful to be able to do what I love.
Reviews are always a welcome surprise. Good ones are awesome. But I also have some bigger news.

My very talented writing buddy George Sirois (author of the Excelsior series – which you should check out) is also a very talented voice actor. He has agreed to record the audio book version of The Golden Rule!
This will be the first time that any of my books has been released in audio book format and I can’t wait to share it with you. The world is constantly changing and technology has been able to help book lovers keep up with their favorite stories even with a busy schedule. Listening in the car or right before bed is a great way to keep the oral tradition alive and George is a fantastic narrator.
It should be out in the next couple of months. So be ready to take a listen!
