We all love a treat this time of year. And everyone should allow themselves a little indulgence, but I have seen a growing trend among women where they ignore health advice to appease momentary “happiness.”
We can balance our health if we make it a priority in addition to getting those special moments alone with some cake haha
This is a topic I feel very strongly about and I was surprised that so many women’s magazines shy away from the topic. Thankfully “evie” cares.
I’m a sugar junkie. I started the 21 days no sugar on the 1st of December. My Lord, the first two days were hard. My nephew says that my knees are swollen due to the amount of sugar I eat. I don’t know how true that is yet though. 🙂
I hope you feel an improvement in your health and that you continue balancing your diet. I like to give myself the weekends off and fast before the holidays sometimes to even things out. However you take care of yourself is a great way to live.
I’m a guy, but I had an eye opening moment a couple years ago. I finally started reading labels on the food and drinks. Just 1 can of Coke contains 75% of a day’s worth of sugar. Utterly insane! Mountain Dew, 1 24 ounce bottle is 120 something day’s worth!
I’ve dug into other things. But people should really be aware and understand what’s in their daily consumption!
It’s not good for men either. Not in large quantities. I mean they even pump sugar into peanut butter. Peanuts, to me, are supposed to be salty not sweet! haha
I love peanut butter!! I can’t judge it lol!!
I do too haha I just make sure to get the one brand that doesn’t have sugar 😉
I try to keep track of sugar and carbs. Not eat the monster portions I used to indulge in lol!!
Thank ya for the follow! I hope you enjoy the blog. I seem to be struggling with it..
My name is John by the way!
No problem, John. You’ll find your groove 🙂
I will… I just have to get my 🤪moment out of the way lol.
