I just signed another book deal. But unlike all the others, this publisher is highly dedicated to connecting with small local pagan shops and that is so close to my heart. My first children’s book was carried by some of the tiniest magic and spirituality stores so working to give them good content has been a huge goal of mine.

Sure I got to do a book with Llewellyn Worldwide, and it was a great experience for the time, but I’ve been working for Witch Way Magazine for about 2 years now. When they released the news that they’re publishing books, I had to check out the submissions guidelines.

I’m always writing. I guess that’s the life of a writer. IDK a lot of writers spend time online talking about how much they don’t write, so maybe I’m not really a “writer.” Whatever I am I do love words and sharing that good ole human connection. So I’m sitting on quite a few unpublished works that are just waiting for the right opportunity.

During the pandemic I wrote a pretty cool Pagan text about discovering tree magic within. Sure a lot of spiritualists are obsessed with trees and there are a million tree books out there, but I wanted to sit down and really offer my personal meditations, rituals, and spells (or physical prayer–whatever you want to call it) because my approach to balance is always focused on how I as an individual can better myself to live in harmony with others. So instead of focusing on objects or baubles, I’ve spend many years just being in nature and living my faith.

My awesome editor at Witch Way, Tonya Brown, loved the concept and we’re set for a February 2023 release! I’m really excited to share this one because it poured out of me like bad poetry, only, instead of being bad and trying to rhyme, it just grew and breathed so much life.

I’m still waiting for the final word on the release date for my homeschooling book, but for now, I hope you get some time to go outside and walk among the trees because I’ve got another titled lined up.
