We’re almost there! The crazy awesome Untitled Town Literary Festival in Green Bay, WI is this weekend and I’ve got my time slots ready so you can all come see me and listen to what nonsense I have to spout on the topics of being an indie author, writing for children, and writing dark fantasy for YA and adult audiences.
My 1st event will be Sat morning, on April 21st at 10am. My author talk: Indie Insanity will be featured at the Neville Public Museum Classroom 2: http://sched.co/Dj35
Here I will regale you with the ins and outs of indie publishing. I’ve had plenty of experiences (both good and bad) to joke with everyone about, and maybe even offer some helpful tips on how to break onto the scene or find lesser known books.
The 2nd even is Sat afternoon, April 21st at 2pm. I will be featured on the panel: Kid Lit – How to write for Young Audiences at the KI Convention Center Room 6AB (Breakout Area): http://sched.co/DowJ
Playing around with other authors and discussing our careers, influences, and pretty much anything you can ponder in this real will be covered. I love sitting on panels. Taking questions from the audience and listening to other authors helps me to better connect with my readers, and find more.
And my last and 3rd even will be Sunday morning on April 22nd at 10am (it’s also my father-in-law’s birthday so everyone should wish him the best). This panel is all about: Dark Magic – writing fantasy for YA and Adults and will take place at St. Brendan’s Inn in the Waterford Room: https://untitledtown2018.sched.com/event/Dowr
Here my fellow panelists and I will go over the elements of dark fantasy and it’s allure.
I’m super excited to be a part of this event and hope to see lots of you there!
Best of luck with your event
