The word “homesteading” is being tossed around a lot. I like to pretend that I’m a self-reliant woman. I can grow some of my own food and i know how to handle animals. But I wanted to dig deeper and figure out what everyone is talking about when they discuss homesteading.
I had a delightful interview with the coordinator for the Ozarks Homesteading Expo, taking place next month, and also got a favored farmer to discuss her family’s journey creating their farmstead. I feel like I learned so much.
